Nextgen Consulting (“Nextgen”, “we”, “us”) provides IT services and consulting. This policy explains how we handle personal data collected through ngconsulting.co, our enquiry forms, email and phone, and in the course of delivering services to clients. It is written to comply with India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and the Information Technology Act, 2000, and we apply equivalent standards to visitors and clients worldwide.
02Data we collect
We collect only what we need to respond to you and deliver our services:
- Contact details you give us — name, email, phone number, company and job title.
- Enquiry details — the services you’re interested in, budget, timeline and your message.
- Job applications — your CV and the details you choose to include.
- Technical data — IP address, browser type, device and pages visited, collected through cookies and analytics.
- Client project data — information you share with us while we deliver a project, handled under our contract with you.
03How we use your data
We use personal data for the following purposes:
- To reply to enquiries and prepare proposals or estimates.

- To send occasional updates, only where you have agreed — you can opt out at any time.

04Legal basis & consent
We process your data on the basis of the consent you give when you submit a form or contact us, for the performance of a contract with you, or where required by law. You may withdraw consent at any time by emailing us; this does not affect processing already carried out.
07International transfers
Some of our providers may store or process data outside India. Where this happens, we take reasonable steps to ensure your data receives a level of protection consistent with this policy and applicable law.
08Data retention
We keep enquiry data for up to [24] months unless we enter into a contract with you, in which case we retain project and billing records for as long as required by law. Job applications are kept for up to [12] months. After that, data is deleted or anonymised.
09Security
We use industry-standard safeguards including encryption in transit, access controls, secure development practices and regular reviews. No system is completely secure, but we work to protect your data and will notify you and the relevant authorities of a breach where required by law.
10Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you have the right to:
- Access a summary of the personal data we hold about you.
- Correct, complete or update inaccurate data.
- Request erasure of your data.
- Withdraw consent and opt out of marketing.
- Nominate another person to exercise your rights in case of death or incapacity.
- Raise a grievance with us, and escalate to the Data Protection Board of India if unresolved.
